Rattrap vs. Mousetrap

Is Rat different from Mouse?
They both are different but belong to the same species. All rats and mice have the common recognizing attribute of a pair of molar teeth in the upper jaw. They have short legs and long tail, but a closer look at their body structure, characteristics, and habits exhibits that there are easily distinguishable qualities. Rats and mice are distinguished based on:
• Size
• Breed
• Color
• Head
• Tail

The Rats generally live on the ground and burrows. They are usually mottled throughout buildings, in sewer systems, and outdoors. The Rat leans to walk on the pads of the feet, and the surfaces that it travels along show pursue muddy from the oily fur. The Mouse lives typically on the ground and nests in warren but is nimble, can crawl, and climb. In heavy infestations, grease from the body integrated with dirt and urine can build into small pillars. These can rest for a long time. A mouse has a smaller footprint than a rat.

Rattrap:
It is a metal cage box that caught the rats without getting any hurt or harm or killing them. Food bait without any deadly chemical or poison is put in the cage trap. When Rat moves towards the bait, the mechanism trips and close the entry door. There are three types of rat trap
• Rat snap trap glue traps
• Live animal cage traps

Rat snap traps
Snap Traps. The wooden or plastic traps can be one of the most effective means of capturing and killing rats, and it's less expensive. While using a snap trap to catch a rat, be sure to use a more massive trap stamped for rat control. These traps are comparatively inexpensive and will immediately kill a rat.

Glue traps
A glue trap is a trapping trick that involves the use of a sticky adhesive or glue put onto a flat surface such as a piece of cardboard, plastic trays, or the same material, particularly design used to take animals alive, and the trap is in the shape of a box. The animal enters the table, and a door closes behind it. The advantage of cage traps is they do not grip the animal, making let out easy.

Mousetrap:
A mousetrap is a particular type of animal trap designed basically to catch and, usually, kill mice. Mousetraps are mainly set in an indoor location where there is a suspected infestation of mice.

Electric Mouse Traps
The electrical mouse trap uses Smart Circuit technology, having a sensor to sense when a mouse comes to the unit. Once the Mouse is getting inside, the system delivers a pleasant, high-voltage shock to kill the Mouse in some seconds successfully. Placing three or more of these units in strategic locations is a beneficial strategy. It is cost-effective and reusable.

Plastic enclosed Snap Traps
The pest control companies have a much-improved product now that is made of hard, durable plastic that can be reutilized. The Snap-E Mouse Trap is one of these new upgrade prototypes & is one of the costly mouse traps available enclosed with coated plastic.
